If your phone is not running on Android 7.0 and you want to try Google Assistant, this is the only solution for you. Well, so below I have added the full method to use Google Assistant on CM13 or Android Marshmallow.
There is little requirements you need to fulfill to use Google Assistant on CM13 or Marshmallow that, you will need root access or at least bootloader unlocked.
So, the very first requirement you need to fulfill is the root access and then you will need Xposed Framework installed. We are going to enable Google Assistant on CM13 or Marshmallow by activating a module on Xposed Installer. So you must need Xposed Framework installed on your Android. How To Use Google Assistant on CM13/ Marshmallow
As I have already mentioned the requiremets you need to fulfill to enable Google Assistant on CM13, you will need
- Root Access/ Bootloacker unlocked
- Xposed Framework Installed
- Xposed Installer App installed
- Google App Beta (latest version).
Steps To Use Google Assistant
- After fulfilling all the requirements you need to open Xposed Installer application.
- From the application click on Download option.
- Now search for a module called Assistant Enabler.
- Download the module and install it.
- After installing the module again open Xposed Installer application.
- Now go to Modules option.
- There you will see Assistant Enabler module with a black box.
- Tick the black box near the module to activate it.
- Now you need to restart your device.
- Restart it.
That’s it. You have successfully enabled Google Assistant on your CM13 running Android Marshmallow device. Just long press the home button your you will be ask to train Google Assistant to recognize your voice and then you are ready to chat with the intelligent by Google.
