How To Remove Photo Background Using Photoshop

1. Open any image on Photoshop, you want to remove the background of, check the left side toolbar. Check the screenshot added below, select the icon marked with the white border. Right click on that icon and choose Magic Eraser Tool.
2. There you will get three options: Eraser Tool, Background Eraser Tool and Magic Eraser Tool.
3. If you want to remove the same color background, take the number 3 eraser. As my demo image has almost one colored background, so I’m taking Magic Eraser Tool as the first eraser to remove photo background using Photoshop for this picture.
4. It is recommended to use eraser tool if you are trying to eliminate the shadow of the pic as magic eraser tool may also remove the edges/side of the phone because it looks similar in color.
5. Use pen tool or Magnetic Lasso tool to select the areas and remove them. You can also use the very first eraser tool by zooming the picture. Check the result below:
6. Great. You are done and successfully removed the background from the image, and I use Polygonal Lasso Tool to select the sides background and remove it.
